I wrote out what Krayzie said. But the quality of the audio
forced me to put out some weird answers.
1. We know the album Thug On Da Line is dropping August 28th, what can we exspect from it as far as production and guest
appearences?
-Krayzie Bone's Response
--Man but the first thing you know what I'm sayin, I got like a couple of of stuff to do that's on there. Work with Neptunes, work with Irv Gotti, Mizza who worked with Mariah Carey, got LT who put the Eastside with Snoop, I also got a little dued I'm working with trying for Thugline, his name is LD, he put production on the song called "Everybody Wanna Be Thug", so he up and coming'. For guest appearance, I got Sade on the first single "Hard Time Hustlin'". I did a collaboration with Tiffany, the old pop singer from back in da day. I got a song with (Caleise) he on the track that Neptune produce. I got the song with Boss, the old female rapper Boss (trying to work out something to sign her up to Thugline) and my Thugline artist.
2. What separates this release from your previous solo album, Thug Mentality?
-Krayzie Bone's Response
--By first it's a single CD. I got less guest appearances. It's like the production is improved, and as far as the vocals, the lyrics are like matured over the last time.
3. What can we expect from Thug Line Records in 2002?
-Krayzie Bone's Respose
--Oh man, um , Thugline 2002, the first release off the label, after my album, is going to be a female I'm working with, she's featured on 8 songs on my album, her name is Lareece, she's a female rapper and she sings as well. I then have a group that's coming up called Knight Ridahz, They are like a rock-rap group, you know what I'm saying, like alternative, mixed in between the two, and plus they like images like real real real crazy , like on some of ...... but it's rap though, so it's real crazy
4. Rumor has it you and Bizzy Bone had some small beef but recently worked it out. Any truth to that rumor?
-Krayzie Bone's Response
--Yeah man, me and Bizzy Bone, I mean, we all have problems with each other, and it all has something to do with like us not being happy with our record company. But as you know, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is not with Ruthless Records anymore, we released off from Ruthless Records. So that kinda brought us back almost instantly, it's like we are talkin' to each other everyday. Me and Bizzy Bone are actually working on an album, to come out together, like me and him.
5. I know you worked with 2pac on the song Thug Luv, how did you guys hook up?
-Krayzie Bone's Response
--The first time we meet Pac was at a hotel off Cali, we ran into him (he was coming out and we were going in). We just stopped, he told us that that he was feelin' us and we were feelin' him and that we needed to hook up. And then a couple of months went by, and we finally hooked up and went to the studio and knocked it down.
6. Any idea what your second single from "Thug On Da Line" will be?
-Krayzie Bone's Response
--There's gonna be a song called "Y'all Don't Know Me". It's produced by LT Huton. It's off the Hook man. It's basically just something about that everybody knows bone thugs, they know us as the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, but they don't specifically know me. And that's basically what the song is about.
7. What your thoughts on the recent release of Suge Knight from prison? Will his release effect the rap game?
-Krayzie Bone's Response
--Hopefully. Knowing Suge Knight, I know he always has something up his sleeve, so it's like you could never get that kinda of man from the Game. Hopefully, he brings life from the Game. Bring some woes and make people respect the game.
8. Can you comment on the situation between you guys and Ruthless Records I know a lawsuit has been filed, can you fill us on what going on?
-Krayzie Bone's Response
--Yeah, yeah, it's a lawsuit. Basically what it boils down to, the lawsuit is, them actually upset, because we chose to excersize our option, which was the 7th year rule out in California, you could stay with Ruthless Records for 7 years. So we had the right to terminate the contract. So basically their argument is, that we had the right to excersize our options, but we're doing it for our own selfish reasons or whateva that means. I mean why wouldn't we? We're not getting paid here, so why wouldn't we want to leave?
9. When can we expect a new album from Bone Thugs?
-Krayzie Bone's Response
--Right now we working on the album right now after we speak. We got around 20 songs recorded all together right now and Uneek is the main producer. Right now we are getting ready to delete (or leek) two songs independently. And get the project and get it buzzin', let everyone know we're back together, if they want to call it, but we never broke up, so we are reunited, so the mass is even stronger now.
10. Anything you wanna tell the fans listening in? Does Thug Line Records have an official site you'd like them to hit up?
-Krayzie Bone's Response
--Oh Yeah, they can check out the Thugline Website, the website is at www.thugline1.com it should be up in like another week. It's being worked on right now. They can go to there to find out everything that's going about me, myself, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as well, and Thugline records.
